Program Wins First Place in Inaugural National Awards Program

Marlton, NJ - Nov. 10, 2005 - Anne Klein & Associates Inc. (AKA), a national public relations firm based in the Philadelphia region, has received a first place Crystal Award in PRNews’s inaugural awards program, “NonProfit PR Awards.” The award was presented at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 1.

AKA received the award in the category of “Volunteer and Member Communications,” for a program developed for the National Association of Investors Corporation (NAIC) entitled “Empowering Volunteers With Public Relations Resources.” The core of the program is a Web site, created in partnership with Solution Media, a Philadelphia-based web designer, to assist NAIC’s 98 chapters conduct more effective public relations activities in their local markets. The NAIC, now branded as BetterInvesting, is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to investment education.
