ANNE KLEIN RECEIVES MENTOR AWARD FROM
CENTER CITY PROPRIETORS ASSOCIATION
Marlton, NJ - October 20, 2006 - Anne S. Klein, president of Anne Klein & Associates, a national public relations firm based in the Philadelphia region, received the “Mentor Award” from Philadelphia’s Center City Proprietors Association. At a festive ceremony held at the Kimmel Center, the association presented its Real Small Business Awards to the most outstanding and deserving small business owners, professionals and supporters in the Philadelphia area. The Mentor Award is given to the small business owner who is always willing to give time and share knowledge to help rookies learn the ropes, and was presented by Vernice Black, supplier diversity representative, PECO Energy, an Exelon Company, that sponsored the award.
Klein was recognized for more than 25 years of support for the Public Relations Student Society of American (PRSSA), for founding the Rowan University PRSSA chapter, and for her commitment to mentoring and counseling young people desiring a career in the public relations profession. Klein is an accredited member and Fellow of the Public Relations Society of America, and, as an entrepreneur, opened her agency 25 years ago as of 2007.
