AKCG Wins Pepperpot Award for Memorial Sloan-Kettering

Marlton, NJ - December 7, 2007 - Anne Klein Communications Group (AKCG), a national public relations firm based in the Philadelphia region, won a Pepperpot Ladle Award from the Philadelphia chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) at its annual awards dinner.

The program was a media relations effort for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. After opening a new, state-of-the-art cancer care facility, Memorial Sloan-Kettering asked AKCG to introduce the impressive facility to the community. A targeted local media relations program, that was short-term and with limited budget, yielded in-depth articles in desired daily and weekly publications, including the Newark Star-Ledger. A PRtrak analysis showed the resulting media coverage reflected a nearly 15 times ROI.
