AKCG Takes Home Four PRSA Pepperpot Awards

Mount Laurel , NJ - December 5, 2012 - Anne Klein Communications Group won three first-place Pepperpot Awards and one second-place ladle at the annual Pepperpot and Achievement Awards sponsored by the Philadelphia chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. The Pepperpot Awards recognize best in class public relations campaigns and tactics from the Philadelphia region. This is the fourth straight year the firm has won at least four awards at the ceremony.

AKCG won the following first place awards in the:

• Social media category for its work with New Jersey American Water of Voorhees, N.J. in transitioning its Facebook page from a customer service resource to a model for community engagement.

• Internal communications category with Kennedy Health System of South Jersey in developing a key message platform that would distinguish Kennedy Health System from its competitors.

• Audio/video programs category with NuStart Energy Development, LLC of Washington, D.C. in developing an engaging video chronicling the nuclear consortium’s successes.

And

• Second place in the Editorial/op-ed columns category with NuStart Energy Development, LLC of Washington, D.C. for writing and securing an op-ed in the D.C.-insider publication Roll Call chronicling the nuclear consortium’s successes.

The firm also presented the Anne Sceia Klein Professional Promise award to Kelly Ann Rickert, a senior at Marywood University, in Scranton, Pa. The Professional Promise award, given annually, was created in 2007 in honor of the firm’s 25th anniversary.
